Greetings from the members of First Baptist Church in Church Hill. We extend to you a cordial invitation to join us at every opportunity as we come together as the body of Christ to worship and serve the Lord.

 

I hope that you feel the warmth and love that we have for one another at First Baptist. We, as Christ's church, are attempting to be and become all that God would have us to be in this community. However, our ministry is not to Church Hill only as we extend our ministry throughout Hawkins County, Tennessee, the U.S. and World through our affiliation with the support of the Holson Valley Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. Through our gifts to the Cooperative Program, our members are afforded the opportunity to reach around the nation and world every day in the name of Christ. We are proud of our missions heritage as Baptists.

 

At First Baptist Church, we belive every person is called by God to proclaim the Good News; to share the love He has given us, and to serve. Members are encouraged to find their role of service and join in the world of the church. The various ministries of the church include opportunities in teaching; in committee involvement; worship participation; mission action; deacon service, and special projects. In all these tasks we depend on the grace of God, believing that He will bless and fulfill our labors.

 

To visitors and potential members alike we extend an invitation to join us as we pray, worship, study, encourage and work together in the name of Christ to bring the hope of the Good News of Christ to our community and the world.
