Bro. Gary has been the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church for the last 26 years. He came to FBC in August of 1983 after graduating from Seminary. He and his wife Donna are originally from West Tennessee. Gary graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He has passion for preaching and loves the people of Church Hill.

John came to First Baptist Church in August of 2008 after completing seminary. John and his wife Katie are originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. John graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee and from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) in Louisville, Kentucky. John has a passion for teaching and leading people closer to Christ. He loves working with teenagers and has a passion for reaching them for Christ.

Minister of Music: Gary Rice

Gary came to First Baptist Church in October of 1991 from Elizabethtown, Tennessee. Gary is orginally from Kentucky. Gary attended Belmont University and graduated from East Tennessee State University. He has served in several churches as the Minister of Music/Youth. Gary has a passion for music. Gary also helps in the nursing home and shut-in ministry.

Executive/Financial Secretary:
Shaun Moore

Shaun came to First Baptist Church in August of 1997. She is married to Bryan Moore who is the Pastor of Fordtown Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. Shaun is originally from the Tri-Cities area. She loves spending time with her niece and nephew.

Receptionist/Secretary: Patty Leinbach

Patty came to First Baptist Church in January of 2000. She is married to Glenn Leinbach Jr and they have three children. She loves spending time with her family.

Children's Choir Director: Sharon Anderson
Sharon came to First Baptist Church in March of 2007. She is married to Ed Anderson and they have one child. Sharon loves working with the children. She loves working with the children and she uses music to teach them more about God and His love for them.

Maintence Supervisor: Glenn Leinbach
Glen came to First Baptist Church in January of 1998. He is married to Shirley Leinbach and they have several children, grand children, and great grandchildren. Glen is responsible for making sure that the building are up to code and working properly.
